After how 2020 has gone, this election chaos shouldn’t be a surprise to any of us. But when chaos comes, whether in the form of election results or something else, it becomes very easy to put things off.

Let me encourage you to keep focused on the long game and continue the daily digital marketing activities that will help you succeed.

1). Use Time Blocking for Your Marketing Activities

I’ve found that what gets scheduled gets done. So even if you’re glued to the election (as I am too), setting up a time block to focus on your digital marketing activities can pay long-term dividends. Most likely, your competition isn’t completely focused right now either, so this is a great time to capitalize.

For the time being, I recommend doing this first thing in the day, before checking for news updates or anything else that has the opportunity to distract you.

2). Schedule Time to Check the News

You know you’re going to check the news, so why not schedule it?

This will help keep you even more focused throughout the day, ensuring that the most important things get done.

Besides, if something really significant happens, someone will tell you about it.

3). Continue Thinking About the Long Game

Regardless of the outcome, Google search will still exist, so SEO isn’t likely to be impacted one way or another.

Patients will still need to find good doctors no matter who is in the White House. So continue marketing yourself and thinking about what the patient increase could mean over the next year and beyond.
